Sometimes as the photographer I've gotten lost behind the lens. It seems odd that the person documenting an event should almost disappear from it in hindsight. At first my self portraits were merely attempts to be "part of the party". Now I often take them when I'm alone or having a moment to myself in a social situation, or whenever the mood strikes!

mouthy - there was no need to extract them sooner.
habbyhobo - ha; that's probably true. i'm glad that you've noticed that it's not often the smile leaves my face.
timmay - they are really tight with the drugs!
believe it or not, even the one without roots (literally being held in by my healthy gums) they weren't going anywhere. i could have actually waited a bit longer but decided that instead of replacing the filling for a rootless tooth i should just bite the bullet - so to speak.
I think this is the first shot I have ever seen of you when you weren't smiling at least a little bit.
